The short version:
My passion is optimizing life through conditioning leadership. This is impossible without sharing skills, values, and experiences. The PREVAIL.blog was created to facilitate this mission.
During the last 18 years, I was a senior consultant for several Fortune 125 companies, founded two successful organizations, and served as an Army Infantry Officer — best job I ever had. For the last six years, I’ve run around the world supporting projects of all shapes and sizes for corporations, governments, and militaries.
I lead through selfless service and massive action.
If I can help you, I will.

The long version:
Consultant:
My consulting career began days after graduating college when I was recruited by the largest company in the world at the time. Due only to luck, I had the privilege to be mentored by a 40+ year industry icon of financial planning and business strategy. This mentoring experience primed my entire career.
Over the next ten years, I would consult for several top-5 financial organizations, leading teams of experts specializing in financial planning and business strategy. Together we managed the success of the ultra-affluent including elected officials, hall-of-fame athletes, and serial entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneur:
I founded my first company in 2013 that provided wealth management caliber financial solutions at no-cost for the other 97.5% of the population. Inspired by Tim Ferriss’ book, The 4-Hour Workweek, I automated this business, soon finding myself needing to refill purpose for 90 new hours each week.
Rather than thinking about “what to do next” I took the approach of “what have I not done yet?” Being part of the military was a childhood dream. While being called crazy, I enlisted in the Guard obtaining the identical military training as active duty with the ability to maintain one hand on my business.
Military:
After almost five years of sharing full- and part-time responsibilities with the military and earning a commission as an Infantry Officer, I was honorably discharged due to injuries sustained during training. This provoked another recruitment call, this time into the world of military contracting.
For the last five years, I’ve bounced all over the world supporting different corporations, governments, and militaries in the scope of planning and training in order to execute globally scaled technical projects interweaving different countries, cultures, and languages in real-time across multiple time zones.
Bringing it all together:
In February 2020 I founded my second company that married my corporate experience with my military connections, supported by a roster of all-star veteran leaders. We support organizations around the world of all shapes and sizes in Strategic Management, Mission Services, and Agile Applications.
Who I am:
A lifelong obsessive optimizer who enjoys talking to strangers. I’m Pittsburgh born and raised, and have lived as a resident of six countries. Daily activities are morning yoga, nightly kettlebells, forever acquiring the Japanese language, escaping reality in Warhammer, and always trying to be better than I was yesterday.
